Fees and financing

Fees for the Executive MBA class commencing in September 2016:


London stream: £72,795

Dubai stream: US$109,500


Fees include:


  • ​Tuition for the 20-month duration of the programme

  • Course materials and required core course textbooks (students may want to purchase additional material)

  • Hotel accommodation for the two residential modules in London

  • Hotel accommodation for one compulsory Global Business Assignment

  • Student Association (SA) subscription


Company support


Around 50 per cent of our Executive MBA students receive a financial contribution from employers towards their study, but all students must have their employer's full support in terms of the time commitment to attend classes. 


Securing support from your employer usually involves drawing up a detailed business case outlining your reasons for wanting to do the Executive MBA and the benefits that you feel it will bring to yourself and to the company. Scholarships


The School offers a range of scholarships to support your Executive MBA experience.

  • The Gallifrey Scholarship for Social Enterprise

    Funded by: 


    An anonymous alumni donor.


    Open to: 


    All successful MBA, EMBA and Sloan Masters applicants who have a background in social enterprise*. Applications from women and/or candidates residing in Africa encouraged. Recipients of the award are expected to contribute to the School's future recruitment of other students from a similar background. 


    Award: 


    One award of £20,000. 


    Application Format: 


    All candidates who receive an offer for the September 2016 intake of the Executive MBA will be automatically considered for this award.

  • The London Business School EMBA (Dubai) Scholarships

    The Executive MBA (EMBA) Programme Office is delighted to offer the London Business School EMBA (Dubai) Scholarships in support of individuals applying for the January 2017 intake of the Executive MBA (Dubai) programme. The scholarships will be awarded to individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to developing the ongoing success of the London Business School Executive MBA.


    Who is eligible?


    The scholarships are open to all self-funding applicants to the September 2016 intake of the Executive MBA (Dubai) programme. Candidates may submit a scholarship application at the time of submitting their EMBA application.


    Criteria for awarding the scholarship


    The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of future professional and leadership potential, as demonstrated by the quality of the essay submitted in support of the scholarship application. We will also be looking for candidates that can demonstrate a proven track record of success (educational and professional) through their EMBA programme application and performance at interview. The Scholarship Committee will review all elements of your application to assess your potential contribution to the ongoing success of the Executive MBA and commitment to London Business 
    School through ambassadorial work.


    Judging panel


    The judging panel is made up of members of the Admissions Committee and includes representatives from the Executive MBA Admissions and Programme Management Teams, Faculty and Career Services.


    How to apply


    You must submit the following documents:


    • Completed scholarship application form
    • A short essay of no more than 1,000 words (please supply the word count) addressing the following question:

      ‘As a London Business School Dubai student, how would your experience contribute to the London Business School community in the region?’


    Deadline for submission


    We must receive your scholarship application on or before 21 November 2016. Candidates will need to have their funding in place and make all the necessary payments as outlined in the fee schedule. The full amount of the award will be deducted from the tuition fee for the programme.

  • Dubai Executive Office Scholarship

    Funded by:


    The Dubai Executive Office Scholarship


    The Dubai Executive Office Scholarship aims to attract outstanding Emirati candidates. The scholarship will be awarded to individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to developing and promoting London Business School in the UAE, and who prove their commitment to London Business School through ambassadorial work.


    Open to:


    All self-sponsored UAE candidates who apply to the Executive MBA (London or Dubai) programme and have submitted a completed application. This scholarship is also open to UAE self-sponsored candidates applying to any other London Business School Master degree programme. 


    Award:


    One scholarship awarding up to 31,000 USD of the tuition fees.

  • The 30% Club Scholarship

    The Executive MBA programme office is delighted to offer scholarship support for a September 2016 Executive MBA London or Dubai female participant who has demonstrated leadership potential and commitment to supporting the on-going success of the Executive MBA programme. This substantial scholarship of 50% of tuition fees will be deducted from the total tuition fee of the programme.


    Open to:


    All successful female Executive MBA applicants. The aim of the scholarship is to support female candidates of merit and to help increase the number of women joining the Executive MBA programme at London Business School.


    Award:


    50% of Executive MBA fees.


    Application Format:


    All candidates who receive an offer for the September 2016 intake of the Executive MBA will be automatically considered for this award.

  • The Muna Al Gurg Scholarship

    Open to:


    Female candidates for the EMBA Dubai programme who are residents of GCC region, male or female candidates for the MBA programme who are residents of GCC region, or female candidates for the MBA programme.


    Award:


    £50,000


    Application Format:


    Qualified candidates who receive an offer for the class of EMBA Dubai September class of 2018 and other masters programmes will be automatically considered for this award.

  • The Monica and Navin Valrani Scholarship

    Open to:


    Indian women. Designed to support exceptionally gifted and talented Indian women who have achieved success through their own determination, ambition and motivation and have striven to succeed in their education and career.


    Award:


    £20,000.


    Application Format:


    Candidates who receive an offer for the class of EMBA Dubai September class of 2018 and other masters programmes will be automatically considered for this award.
