We are planning maintenance on our systems from 08.00AM (BST) to 12.00PM (BST) on Thursday 24 September. During this time, application forms for Masters degrees will not be available.

Work with us

For the organisations, individuals and policymakers shaping longer working lives.

Turning research into practical impact

Longer working lives impact individuals, organisations and institutions all at once. Most future-of-work research focuses on one part of that picture. The SARI Institute considers all three together, in a single, integrated view.

Led by Academic Co-Directors Lynda Gratton and Herminia Ibarra, the SARI Institute brings together the LBS community, policymakers and academics through original research, high-level convening and lifelong learning initiatives.

Questions every organisation now faces

Careers that span six decades are no longer the exception. For the organisations employing them, that changes almost everything.

  • How do you design talent systems for people whose careers no longer follow a linear path?

  • How do you build leadership pipelines when tenure stretches and career stages blur?

  • How do you help people reinvent themselves, not once but several times, inside your organisation rather than outside it?

  • And how do you keep motivation, contribution and meaning alive across a working life far longer than your current structures were built for?

These are the questions the SARI Institute exists to answer.

Our research operates where most stops short. It connects what individuals need, what organisations must redesign, and what institutions have to enable.

If these questions are live in your life or organisation, we’d like to hear from you.

Start a conversation. Be part of the research as it takes shape. Email the Institute and tell us who you are and what you are working on.
