London Business School actively champions inclusion and inclusive practice. This means that we aim to be a welcoming teaching and learning environment which is accessible to all students.
Student Wellbeing Services is your first point of contact if you are experiencing any difficulties engaging with your studies due to disability, health, neurodiversity (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism etc.) or wellbeing issues. We are a student-facing service based in the Sammy Ofer Centre, providing confidential advice and support to students from all programmes.
If you need information about physical access in and around our campus and buildings, please visit the AccessAble website for detailed maps and guides. You may require a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) to ensure your safety in the event of an emergency. For instance, deaf students who may need notifying of a fire alarm; visually impaired students who may require assistance; or a wheelchair user who requires building-specific evacuation plans. It is important that the plan is in place for you before you arrive on campus, so please reach out to us before your programme begins.
We can arrange reasonable adjustments, exam arrangements and specialist support (including assistive technology and study skills mentoring) for disabled and neurodivergent students. If you are eligible, we can guide you through the application process for Disabled Student’s Allowance (DSA).
We will require up-to-date medical evidence or assessments to support your reasonable adjustments, register you with the service and draw up your Summary of Reasonable Adjustments (SoRA). Any documents you share with us will be kept confidential and will not be shared with other staff without your consent.
For more information, students can read our confidentiality policy and guidance for medical evidence on the Wellbeing page on Canvas.
We want you to live well and thrive during your time at London Business School, so we provide tools and services to help you look after your own wellbeing and be the best version of yourself.
All London Business School students have access to Fika, a mental fitness app developed by performance psychology experts. A ‘gym for the mind’, Fika offers daily exercises involving coaching, journaling and self-reflection. Fika helps you to develop resilience in 7 key areas: Confidence; Stress; Connection; Positivity; Meaning and Motivation.
You’ll also have access to TalkCampus, the global student peer support network. TalkCampus connects you to a supportive student community and a 24-hour clinical phone line so you can speak to a counsellor in up to 5 different languages, anytime, anywhere.
You can download both apps for free from your app or play store, using your @london.edu email address.
During an initial appointment with the Wellbeing team, we will talk through any issues or concerns you may have, so that we can signpost you to specialist services that can help.
If you’re in distress, feeling anxious or emotionally overwhelmed, we can refer you to the Student Counselling Service, which provides free, short-term therapeutic support. Counselling offers you the opportunity to be open about your feelings and emotions, supported by a trained therapist, in a safe and confidential space. Our counsellors also offer a ring-in time every week, if you need one-off support.
You can reach out to us with any queries, or to arrange a confidential, one-to-one appointment. We offer appointments via phone, video call or in person in confidential spaces across campus – whichever suits you best.
Open: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
