After a sold-out 180-person conference focusing on “Customer Centricity Through A Retail Lens” at the BMA House last year, The LBS Retail and Luxury Goods Club is thrilled to launch our 2020 conference: “Rethinking Fashion: Sustainability and Circular Design” in which we explore the eco-friendly, ethical fashion from a customer, brand and producer standpoints, in discussing the recent shift in the industry. We are bringing together key industry stakeholders, MBA students from top European programs, and LBS alumni to discuss:
- Sustainable Innovation: How luxury brands can create sustainable innovation and use it to their long-term advantage
- End of Ownership: How brands can utilize cyclical production and support second hand market to generate sustainable purchasing habits of consumers
- Balancing Sustainability & Growth: Managing sustainable practices alongside business goals
- Green Retail: How can fast fashion and mass retail contribute directly to environmental sustainability
In addition, we will be hosting other events including speeches from LBS professors, career networking, a luncheon with notable alumni, an Emerging Brands Fair Reception, among other exciting events.
