Affiliate Faculty- Management Science and Operations
London Business School is inviting applications for affiliate faculty (both teaching fellows and adjunct instructors) to teach on the school’s masters degree programmes starting in the 2023-2024 academic year.
Courses may be delivered face-to-face or online on our campuses in London or Dubai or at client locations around the world. Faculty teach in different formats, including standalone half-day or full-day sessions, 10-week courses that meet once per week or every other weekend, as well as 5-week electives. Our students range from those in our pre-experience masters programmes (e.g., Masters in Management) to our MBA and Executive MBAs. We also offer executive education sessions in both open enrolment and custom programmes.
We seek exceptional and inspirational educators, and welcome applications from people from both academic and non-academic backgrounds. Successful applicants will teach in the Management Science and Operations subject area. Courses may include Statistics, Database Management, Decision Models, Data Science, and Operations Management. Some of our courses are training specialists Masters students (for example the Masters in Analytics and Management), while others are geared towards a more generalist audience (such as MBA/EMBA). Adjunct faculty will make additional contributions to the School, such as designing new courses and assisting junior faculty with professional development.
Experience in a Masters/MBA/EMBA/Executive classroom, either as a student or as an instructor, is strongly desired. A PhD in a relevant field and experience as a guest lecturer or an in-company trainer, is preferred. The ideal candidate lives in or close to London, or is willing to travel to London on their own budget.
Inclusion and diversity have always been a cornerstone of London Business School’s values and we particularly welcome female applicants and those from an ethnic minority, as they are currently under-represented within our faculty.
Please apply on Interfolio attaching your CV and a cover letter outlining your area of expertise and teaching experience. You are also encouraged to submit representative feedback from students/participants you have previously taught.
