The position

This position works for the Central Services team which works across all Degree Programmes to provide services and support common to all of our programmes. This includes, but is not limited to, academic planning, assessment, faculty services and communication and student support services.

The department

The Degree Programmes Office is responsible for designing, promoting, recruiting for and delivering London Business School’s portfolio of master’s degree programmes. The Degree Programmes portfolio represents over 50% of London Business School’s revenues. With our programmes consistently ranked in the top 5 in the world by the Financial Times (the Masters in Finance is currently ranked number one in its class by the FT), you would be joining an exciting department which plays an essential role in supporting the School’s brand and reputation.

Whilst forming part of the larger Degree Programmes Office, this position sits specifically within the Central Services team. This team works across all of the Degree Programmes to provide services and support common to all programmes.


The individual

The successful candidate will have an interest and understanding of higher education, with a passion to develop their career within the environment of a world-class business school. Previous experience in a similar role, gained within the Higher Education customer service environment would be desirable. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be confident in dealing with senior members of staff and in handling and resolving challenging situations. You will be competent with the Microsoft office programmes coupled with the use of databases and spreadsheets and have excellent attention to detail when handling and inputting data.

The role

 

Reporting to the Head of Open Sales, the post holder will be responsible for the overall planning, design and implementation of e-communications for enquirers, in alignment with sales cycles and promotional events. The Digital Communications Manager also oversees the Open Programme Sales Assistants which is an important source of lead generation.

Key activities will include people management, developing new ideas and creating high volumes of targeted HTML mailing campaigns. It is essential that the candidate has previous experience of working with email platform software and delivering HTML email campaigns, experience in social media is desirable. The jobholder should have strong copywriting skills and should possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

The individual

 

You will have experience in similar role with experience of HTML email creation. You will be proficient in using email marketing software to schedule email campaigns.

You will have experience of CRM databases, managing and manipulating large datasets for segmentation and advanced analytical skills - experience of using web, email and social media analytics tools and reporting on key metrics.

 

In general you will have strong copywriting skills; you will be proactive and professional with excellent attention to detail. You will thrive on working in a team as well as working autonomously and will be comfortable in managing a team

The Position

 

We are currently recruiting two Housekeeping Assistants to join the Campus Services team at London Business School. The roles will involve providing high quality housekeeping assistance services to the B Wing hotel bedrooms and communal guest areas. The post holders will ensure all bedrooms are serviced/cleaned by the end of each day, so that the School can strive towards maximum room occupancy and high levels of customer service.

The Department

 

The School’s housekeeping operation operates on a 7 days a week throughout the year and staff members are generally expected to be available for weekend cover and for Bank Holiday working on a rota basis to provide a housekeeping service to the on-campus accommodation located in B Wing, covering two floors containing 60 en-suite bedrooms, and two executive lounge areas.

 

Accommodation is primarily for the use of residential executive short programmes, running between 1-2 days, and up to 4 weeks. Bookings can also be made by other members of the School Community, in order to maximise occupancy levels. Typically, bedroom occupancy is between 80% and 100% on any given day. 

 

 

The Individual

 

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a housekeeping role and will demonstrate excellent customer skills for an impeccable service delivery at all times.

 

You will have good interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team. You will also be able to manage a variety of customers/situations.
