Matthew Ryan

Matthew is a PhD student in Organisational Behaviour. His research investigates how hierarchies and morality affect how we perceive ourselves and evaluate others.

He holds an MSc in Behavioural Science from Durham University, an MSc in Education from the University of Edinburgh, and a BA in Economics and English from the University of Connecticut.

Prior to starting his PhD, Matthew worked with various faculty members at the MIT Sloan School of Management, the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

In his spare time, Matthew enjoys watching films, cooking, and running.
