Bio:

Katerina Nikalexi is a PhD student in Economics at London Business School. Her current research examines how Chinese investments in European ports reshape regional trade networks. Her previous work has explored the globalization of corporate control and the uneven regional transmission of monetary policy. Before her PhD, she worked at the European Central Bank in the Monetary Policy Strategy and Fiscal Policies Divisions, and at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She holds an MSc in Economics from University College London and a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick.
