The Worldwide Alumni Celebration unites the LBS community as it returns to London
Celebrating Connection Beyond Borders

The Worldwide Alumni Celebration (WAC) is London Business School’s annual tribute to the strength and spirit of its global community, with over 57,000 alumni connected across more than 60 cities: from London to Lagos and New York to New Delhi. Each year, the LBS network comes alive through events large and small, from vibrant city gatherings to intimate local meet ups, most led by dedicated alumni volunteers and club leaders.
This year’s evening programme at London celebration featured an inspiring talk from Professor of Economics Andrea Galeotti, who explored the transformative power of social connections and homophily. Dean Sergei Guriev and Executive Director of Alumni Engagement Ramsey Sargent also took to the stage in Nuffield Hall to share School updates and to celebrate progress, purpose and the enduring spirit of the LBS alumni community.
At its heart, WAC 2025 is a celebration of connection and friendships, collaborations and shared experiences that define the LBS journey. Across borders and time zones, alumni come together to honour the community that continues to shape business and society worldwide. This year over 60 celebrations are taking place across the globe.
Ramsey Sargent EMBAG 2005 said “As an alumna, the Worldwide Alumni Celebration holds a special place in my heart - it’s truly my favourite day in the alumni calendar. There’s something incredibly powerful about seeing our global community come together in such a meaningful way. The energy, the conversations and the shared sense of purpose remind us all of the lifelong impact of the LBS experience.”
Wherever our alumni are in the world, WAC is an intrinsic moment to reconnect, celebrate and be inspired by the power of the LBS network, a thriving community that truly goes beyond borders.
