LBS’ Professor of Management Practice Lynda Gratton shares her workplace predictions with Sloan Management Review and revisits those she gave 15 years ago
Way back in 2009 and 2010, London Business School Professor of Management Practice in Organisational Behaviour Lynda Gratton set about imaging the workplace of 2025. She shared her predictions via her 2011 book The Shift: The Future of Work Is Already Here.
Since then some things have come to pass – fragmentation and the isolation of workers; flexibility and social engagement being just a few examples – and others haven’t.
In her most recent column for MIT Sloan Management Review, Professor Gratton looks at what she got right and what was less accurate. She shares details of what she learned from making predictions and also offers her predictions for 2024 and beyond. Read her column to find out more.
