Lynda Gratton to receive lifetime achievement award
Thinkers50 honour LBS professor with a lifetime achievement award for her impact on management practice and thinking

London Business School (LBS) is delighted to announce that Lynda Gratton, Professor of Management Practice at the School is the recipient of the 2025 Thinkers50 Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award is given to someone who has had a long-term impact on the way people think about and practise management. LBS is proud that Professor Gratton has been a fixture in the Thinkers50 Ranking since 2011 and was inducted into the Thinkers50 Hall of Famein 2024. Her book, The New Long Life (co-authored with LBS’s Professor Andrew J. Scott), was selected as a Thinkers50 all-time Management Classic earlier in 2025.
She will be presented with the award at the Thinkers50 London Summit & Awards Gala at the Guildhall on 3 November, when she will address 700 of the world’s leading management thinkers and practitioners.
It was 14 years ago that Professor Gratton presented the very first Lifetime Achievement Award to Charles Handy, who launched and ran LBS’s Sloan Programme.
