London Business School’s response to a resolved cyber-security incident
LBS has confirmed that a cybersecurity incident involving Canvas provider Instructure has been resolved.

London Business School has been made aware of a recent incident that has impacted one of our third-party suppliers – Instructure. We take our community’s privacy and security extremely seriously.
We were notified of a global cybersecurity incident by Instructure, the provider of Canvas, the learning platform used by London Business School. This incident likely involved unauthorised access to low-risk personal data (name and email address). The situation is contained and is currently assessed as low risk.
Instructure has informed customers that it had reached a resolution. According to the vendor, the affected data has been returned, and this has been confirmed through evidential records provided to Instructure.
Canvas remains safe to use, and there is no action to take at this time. If you notice any suspicious activity or receive anything concerning that may relate to this incident, please contact us at help@london.edu.
