Ioannis Ioannou in ‘Who's Who in ESG Top Influencers’

Dr Ioannis Ioannou has been identified by B2B influencer, Onalytica, as an “ESG expert, driving high engagement on social media” and has been included in the company list of top 50 influencers.

On February 21, Onalytica released its report, Who's Who in ESG? Top 50 Influencers to Follow. Onalytica has been creating Top 100 Influencer lists for the past decade, connecting brands with influencer communities, characterising its work as, ”looking to understand who is influential beyond Twitter social amplifiers”.

The Who’s Who report provides information on the top Social Influencers, Content Creators, Event Speakers, Industry Analysts, Brand Employees, Brands and Publications across individual topics such as AI, Climate Change, The Future of Work, FinTech, and Energy Policy.

Dr Ioannou is a strategy scholar whose research focuses on Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility. He consults on and researches how environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) strategies are adopted, embedded and successfully implemented by organizations globally. His work has been published in top academic journals, including the Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science and the Journal of International Business Studies. He is the co-Chair of the Sustainability Advisory Panel of Merck KGaA and a member of the ESG Advisory Board of the DWS Group.

“Attaining a recognised and respected voice on Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) is vitally important to the work that I do. Today, we are seeing ESG being pushed to the centre of discussion on everything from the reconfiguration of global environmental regulation, to the highly charged and mutable arena of social trends. It is also pressed into the less welcome direction of, for example, the infamous US culture wars, and the debates on woke and anti-woke orthodoxies. With such a tumult of assaults, opportunities and rapidly changing horizons, the Onalytica report is both universally significant, and personally gratifying,” says Ioannis.
