Nina Briance, Founder and CEO of Cult Mia and a London Business School MBA alumna (2019), has been recognised by Vogue Business in its 2025 100 Innovators: Entrepreneurs and Founders list, which celebrates the creatives, entrepreneurs, and retailers shaping the future of fashion.

Briance launched Cult Mia at a time when multi-brand retail has faced mounting pressure. Her curated marketplace has thrived by spotlighting emerging and independent designers from around the world, many of whom have never previously partnered with a retailer. By supporting small-batch, made-to-order and artisanal collections, the platform provides a scalable route to market while preserving craftsmanship and creativity.

A Stanford University graduate and former investment banker, Briance founded Cult Mia with the ambition of reimagining how independent designers connect with global audiences. The model has resonated strongly with investors: in October 2024, the company secured £4.5 million in seed funding, with H&M Group Ventures joining existing backers including Morgan Stanley, Fuel Ventures, and David Wertheimer of the Chanel family.

With its mission-driven approach and growing global influence, Cult Mia exemplifies why Vogue Business has highlighted Briance among the leaders giving fashion a reason for optimism.
