My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Overcoming gaps in quantitative subjects when I studied for the GMAT/GRE.
About me: Growing up between Romania, Greece and the UK, I became interested in the dynamics of how different states, regulatory systems and companies interact. That led me to study international relations with Chinese at LSE, where a specialisation in my third year on China’s political economy drew me more to the commercial and financial dynamics that represent current East–West business dynamics.
Professionally, I have worked in marketing at Fiskl, in corporate affairs and sustainability at Coca-Cola Hellenic, and, most recently, as a project analyst at Caraffi, a data-driven talent acquisition advisory. These roles and their different industries refined my interest in how companies grow across markets, alongside the decision-making processes that occur within them.
At London Business School, I see an unparalleled opportunity to build on my experiences and gain first-hand insights into the subjects I’ve studied these past three years. Having benefited from the generosity of the London Business School community and its alumni, I am eager to give back by supporting prospective students in their own journeys.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the piano, travelling and photography. If you are interested in the GMiM or my experience, I would be more than happy to connect and answer any questions you may have.
Three topics I can be approached about: Application help; applying from a non-business background; adapting to London.
