My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Financing my studies

About me:

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen, School of Business, including a semester abroad at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. In my undergraduate thesis, I collaborated with EY-Parthenon’s strategy and financial modelling team to value NVIDIA and benchmark eight peers across the AI value chain. This project sparked my interest in assessing value drivers and growth opportunities in the technology sector.

Professionally, I have gained experience across strategy, M&A and restructuring at EY-Parthenon’s strategy division. Here, I supported major corporate carve-outs, commercial due diligences, independent business reviews and operational excellence programmes.

Beyond academics, I co-founded two social startups: one supporting Ukrainian students through teaching and mentoring during the Russian invasion, and another driving environmental

protection during my studies in Ludwigshafen. I enjoy long-distance cross-country running and have a passion for painting.

At LBS, I serve as President of the Running Club and am actively involved in the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Consulting and Private Equity/Venture Capital Clubs.

What attracted me to LBS – and still drives me every day – is the School’s commitment to fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, its international community and its close connections to the business world. Since the programme began, every day has been an exciting and intensive learning journey.

As a student ambassador, I am passionate about sharing my journey and, more importantly, listening to and supporting those considering LBS as the next step in their career. Social mobility and study financing are causes particularly close to my heart, and I aim to support students by sharing my perspective and helping them navigate these challenges.

Three topics I can be approached about: Financing studies; consulting; student clubs.
