My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Financing my studies
About me:
I completed my undergraduate degree in Business at the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen, School of Business, including a semester abroad at the University of St Andrews. For my bachelor’s thesis, conducted in collaboration with EY-Parthenon’s strategy and financial modelling team, I valued NVIDIA and benchmarked its peers using a Monte Carlo simulation. This experience sparked my interest in M&A across public and private markets, particularly within the technology and consumer sectors.
Professionally, I have gained experience across Transformation Strategy, M&A and Restructuring at EY-Parthenon’s strategy division. Here, I supported major corporate carve-outs, commercial and financial due diligence, independent business reviews and operational excellence programmes.
Beyond academics and work, I co-founded two social startups: one supporting Ukrainian students through teaching and mentoring at the beginning of the Russian invasion in 2022, and another focused on environmental protection during my studies in Ludwigshafen. I enjoy long-distance cross-country running and have a passion for painting. At LBS, I serve as President of the Running Club and am involved in several career-oriented clubs, including the PE/VC and Consulting Clubs.
As a Student Ambassador, I am passionate about sharing my journey and, more importantly, listening to and supporting those considering LBS as the next step in their career. Social mobility and study financing are causes particularly close to my heart, and I aim to support students who aspire to take that demanding and transformative path.
Three topics I can be approached about: Financing studies; consulting; student clubs.
