Sector(s) of interest: Consulting, Energy, Sustainability

My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Achieving a GMAT score that I was happy with and felt confident applying with.

About me: My bioengineering studies were highly analytical and engineering-focused, with little exposure to business-related topics. However, through extracurricular activities, a whole new world opened up to me, and I gradually developed an interest in business. I started exploring this newfound interest through different experiences, including student associations focused on leadership and an internship in sustainability and strategy.

These experiences brought me to the MAM programme at London Business School, which felt like the perfect bridge between my analytical background and my newly developed interest in business. Being able to combine both at a world-class institution, surrounded by talented and internationally minded peers, has been an incredibly positive experience so far and I’m really enjoying my time here at London Business School.

I’m interested in the energy sector and energy networks, especially renewables. My bioengineering background also sparked my interest in sustainability more broadly, with topics like carbon capture, recycling and the circular economy being areas I’m particularly curious about.

Beyond academics and career, I love trying out new food spots, catching up with friends over a drink and exploring London. If you’re ever in London and fancy grabbing a coffee, I’d be more than happy to meet in person!

Three topics I can be approached about: Applying from a non-business background; life at London Business School; consulting.
