My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Understanding what I wanted from this experience and what made me a good candidate.
About me: I hold a bachelors degree from the University of British Columbia, where I specialised in finance and real estate and completed a concentration in sustainability and social impact. Before joining London Business School, I gained experience across different areas of finance, including sales and trading, public markets, venture capital and private investing. Alongside this, my involvement with World Vision and other impact-focused initiatives developed my interest in how investing can be used to generate both financial returns and meaningful social impact.
I chose to pursue the MFA programme at London Business School to deepen my technical finance knowledge while gaining exposure to an international community and the cross-border opportunities that come with studying in London. The strength of the community was particularly important to me when choosing the programme.
Looking ahead, I am interested in gaining transaction experience early in my career, particularly across M&A and private markets, while continuing to explore the intersection of investing and impact. At London Business School, I am pursuing these interests through the Women in Business Club, Private Equity and Venture Capital Club, and impact-focused initiatives.
Outside of finance, I love travelling, learning about history, spending time in nature and café hopping.
Three topics I can be approached about: Life at London Business School; energy transition; volunteering.
