My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Finding enough time to study for the GMAT while doing a full-time internship.

About me: I earned my undergraduate degree in Business and Economics from WU Vienna, specialising in strategy and managerial accounting. During my studies, I spent an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore, which broadened my international perspective and exposed me to diverse approaches in business and finance.

Professionally, I’ve gained valuable experience through internships in consulting, including roles at McKinsey & Company and Boston Consulting Group, where I worked on financial performance improvements and commercial due diligences across industries. I also interned at a software as a service (SaaS) startup, where I supported business development and strategy projects, gaining hands-on exposure to scaling a young company. These experiences sparked my interest in the financial dimension of strategic decision making and motivated me to pursue a finance-focused masters programme.

Alongside my studies, I served as president of a student consulting society, leading client projects and overseeing the organisation’s strategy and operations. This role strengthened my leadership abilities and gave me early exposure to entrepreneurship.

Growing up and studying across several countries fostered my curiosity for new perspectives and cultures. I have a passion for travelling, art and sports, especially pilates. My international upbringing also shaped my language skills: I am fluent in English and German, and proficient in French.

Three topics I can be approached about: Applying to LBS; consulting internships; living in London.
