Laetitia Exertier

Education: Bachelors, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK; graduated in 2026

Subject: Politics and Economics

Sector(s) of interest: Venture Capital, Commodities, Consulting

My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Being as open and true to myself as I could, not fitting a mould and being myself.

About me: I graduated from LSE with a first-class degree in politics and economics. I am now a Merit Scholar on the MFA programme at London Business School. During my time at LSE, I was president of the Venture Capital Society, which gave me the opportunity to explore the VC world while building a community around something I was genuinely passionate about. Over my undergraduate summers, I interned across venture capital, wealth management and an early-stage AI startup. These experiences have shaped my ambition to eventually work in consumer venture capital or join a startup.

Outside of university and work, music has always been a big part of my life. I have played the piano since I was four and have taken part in national and international competitions and recitals over the years. I also love skiing, fashion and cooking.

I’m excited to share my experience and hopefully give prospective students a sense of what studying in London and being part of the London Business School community can really be like.

Three topics I can be approached about: GMAT; staying in London for business school; pivoting from one degree to another.
