My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing my final year of undergraduate studies, running my own business, and the masters application process all at the same time.
About me: Before starting the MiM programme, I co-founded an AI-driven real estate analytics startup for the Dubai market. I bring that experience with me to London Business School rather than leaving it behind. I’ve applied to this year’s Launchpad cohort, the Entrepreneurship Club’s startup pre-accelerator, hoping to use the workshops and mentorship to keep pushing my business forward alongside my degree. I’ve also been drawn to electives like ‘Pricing Strategy and Tactics’ and ‘Financing the Entrepreneurial Business’ as they let me apply what I’m learning directly to problems I’m actually working through, rather than studying them in the abstract.
London Business School stood out because of the strength of its entrepreneurial network and the practical resources built for founders – from the mentorship and funding opportunities to the events and collaboration happening across the startup community here. It felt like the right place to sharpen my skills and build the network I need to take my startup full time and scale it properly.
If you’re considering a similar path, whether you’re already building something or just weighing entrepreneurship against a more traditional track, I’d genuinely like to hear from you. I know how rare it is to find someone a step ahead who’s dealt with that exact decision, and I’d like to be that person for you.
Three topics I can be approached about: Entrepreneurship as a student; sports clubs; life in London.
