My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Overcoming imposter syndrome.
About me: I grew up in Odense, Denmark. After finishing high school, I moved to Berlin for a one-year internship before returning to Denmark to pursue an undergraduate degree in international business at Copenhagen Business School.
Alongside my studies, I worked as an assistant growth advisor at Jyske Bank, where I supported the advisory of high-growth and venture-backed companies. This experience sparked my interest in pursuing a career in finance, pushed me to become more independent, and exposed me to a wide range of industries and clients. I also spent a semester abroad at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal, where I discovered the value of studying and living in an international environment.
Coming from Denmark, a career in a city like London felt more like an aspiration than a realistic plan. That changed during a trip with FinanceLab, where I got a first-hand look at the city’s business environment and, for the first time, could picture myself actually working here. That shift in perspective is part of what led me to London Business School.
Outside of work and academics, I enjoy training, travelling, trying new experiences, cooking and getting lost in a good book. Above all, I love meeting new people and learning from different perspectives.
Three topics I can be approached about: Moving to a different country for education; application process; choosing London Business School.
