My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Balancing extremely demanding jobs in finance with preparing for the GMAT and completing my application to London Business School.

About me: I grew up across four different continents, which fostered a curiosity for new perspectives and cultures. I decided to return to Spain for my undergraduate studies, where I graduated from Esade with a bachelors degree in business administration. Shortly afterwards, I began working in finance in Madrid, completing three internships before coming to London Business School.

My route into finance has taken me from understanding businesses from within to advising on transactions and assessing investments. Working across corporate development, M&A and special situations private equity has shaped my interest in advisory work, particularly how financial decisions and operational changes can help businesses recover and grow.

I was a competitive swimmer for many years, a passion that taught me discipline, commitment and perseverance. I still manage to balance this hobby with my study.

I chose London Business School to deepen my financial knowledge while leveraging the unmatched network the School provides through its international community and London’s finance industry. I am especially keen to learn from and connect with classmates who have taken different paths to get here. I know that coming to London Business School is both a significant career and financial decision, so I would be delighted to support you and answer any questions you may have.

Three topics I can be approached about: Applying to London Business School while working full-time; student life; GMAT preparation.
