My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Managing the application while ensuring job productivity.
About me: I am from a port city in northern Vietnam and have grown my career by consistently seeking out new challenges beyond my hometown. After completing my bachelors degree at the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, I moved to Ho Chi Minh City, where I spent two years in analytics consulting, gaining experience across industries. Witnessing how AI is reshaping the future of data and business, I decided to pursue the MAM programme at London Business School, with the aim of developing the mindset and ability to lead through that transformation rather than simply respond to it.
Now at London Business School, I am honoured to be among the few Vietnamese students on the MAM programme. This has given me first-hand insight into the challenges of navigating an unfamiliar path with limited local precedent to draw on. It is precisely this experience that gives me a clear sense of purpose: to support peers, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, as they consider their own journey to London Business School.
I embrace the opportunity to share my experience and offer practical guidance to help prospective students throughout their application process. Other than that, I would love to chat about life in London and technology.
Three topics I can be approached about: Application process; artificial intelligence; South East Asia.
