Darya Talebzadehshahrbabaki (she/her)

Education: Bachelors, University of Bologna, Italy; graduated in 2025

Subject: Financial and Managerial Business

Sector(s) of interest: Consulting, also interested in pursuing a PhD in behavioural economics

My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: Financial issues were the biggest challenge I had. With the scholarship, the path was much more doable.

About me: I’m an Iranian student with a bachelors degree in financial and business management from the University of Bologna in Italy. I’m particularly interested in the intersection of analytics, behavioural science and economics, and hope to build a career combining data-driven thinking with a deeper understanding of people and organisations.

Outside academics, I enjoy taekwondo, walking, exploring new places and learning about different cultures. I value meeting people from diverse backgrounds and hearing their experiences. As a student ambassador, I’m excited to share my experience of the MAM programme and life at London Business School, and to help prospective students gain a genuine insight into the programme and its community.

Three topics I can be approached about: Choosing the right university; choosing the right country for future educational and career goals; adapting to a new environment.
