My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: My greatest challenge when I applied to business school was discerning the next few years of my future. When choosing a plan of study, I realised that I needed to be thinking more than just a year ahead. This required me to really sit down and decide what I want in the future.

About me: Through my study of accountancy at the University of Notre Dame in the US, I acquired foundational business knowledge and developed a growing interest in social impact. As I worked with financial statements, I saw how business strategy can be leveraged to support marginalised members of society. I became more interested in quantitative tools, modelling and data science for their ability to understand problems and optimise outcomes. This is why I am pursuing the MAM programme at London Business School – to connect numbers to people, and use data to uplift communities.

Beyond the technical, I bring a unique perspective through my time studying at Universidad Católica de Santiago, Chile, and my work as a Philosophy Fellow at Notre Dame. Rooted in my Catholic faith and international experience, I view business through a lens of economic justice and strive to integrate my technical skills with these values.

Having built hands-on experience in audit and financial valuation roles, I am seeking a role in financial modelling, valuation and analytics at a mission-driven company. I care about using data to drive financial growth while honouring the common good and ensuring business is used as an instrument for global human flourishing.

Three topics I can be approached about: Connecting with other students and getting involved; discerning plans of study; choosing between US graduate programmes and European ones.
