About me: I was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. I studied Business Administration and a masters in Finance at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. After graduation, I went to work as an investment banking analyst at Asset Chile, a local boutique M&A firm. I later worked at BTG Pactual, a Brazilian investment bank and one of the leaders in Latin America, where I was promoted to associate after a year. Throughout my career I have advised on deals mainly in the infrastructure, power and utilities, mining and agribusiness sectors.
I decided to pursue the MBA programme at LBS as a way to further develop my technical and leadership skills and explore new career opportunities, and also because it gave me the opportunity to experience life abroad and have an international experience.
I chose LBS for several reasons: the global recognition of the School; the diversity of its student community; the flexibility of the programme; and because it gave me the chance to live in London, where I have direct access to large multinational firms.
