My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: I believe my greatest challenge when applying to London Business School was making sure I was able to differentiate myself from the rest of the applications that had a similar background and demographic to me.

About me: I spent the early years of my life in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where my father ran a computer solutions business. I built my first PC at 7 years old and that early curiosity led me to study electronics and communications for my undergraduate degree at Vellore Institute of Technology in India. That love for computers also extended into online gaming and I competed semi-professionally during my undergraduate degree.

Professionally, I’ve interned across both startups and multinational corporations, starting with an energy consulting startup that first drew me into the sustainability space.

At London Business School, I’m part of the Social Impact Club, where I look forward to working alongside peers who care deeply about using business as a force for good. Outside academics, you’ll usually find me at the gym, cooking or volunteering.

What I love most about London Business School is the openness of the community, which makes the process of adjusting to a new environment much more manageable. After London Business School, I plan to move into strategy consulting, building on the technical and consulting foundation I’ve developed so far.

As a student ambassador, I’m excited to share my journey and help others navigate theirs.

Three topics I can be approached about: Life at London Business School and in London; anything related to GMAT prep; application process.
