My greatest challenge when I applied to business school: The GMAT
About me: I am Swiss-Greek-Iranian and my home base has been Dubai for the last 20 years. I studied medicine in Cyprus and Switzerland, graduating in 2025. I then went straight back to work in innovation and digital health at Mediclinic Middle East, a healthcare provider. I helped build the clinical content and the digital tools that patients and doctors now use.
I run Medical Connect Africa and our NGO Health Community Outreach Programme with three doctors in Arusha, Tanzania. We place international medical volunteers in Tanzanian hospitals and the money goes back into the community that cannot afford healthcare. Running something across two continents on almost no budget taught me more than most of medical school did.
I speak English, French, Greek and German, and my Arabic is rusty at best. On most days, I either go to the gym or play racket sports and I enjoy reading about markets.
I came to London Business School because I want to build and run health systems rather than work inside one. I want to pursue consulting in the Gulf first, and after that I want to own and operate healthcare assets in the region. Demand is moving a lot faster than the infrastructure behind it.
Three topics I can be approached about: Healthcare; moving-in; making new friends.
