Our energy research programme has been providing modelling advice on forecasting and capacity planning to the CEGB, the UK public-sector electricity monopoly, since 1986.The EMG programme is directed by Professor Derek Bunn, and engages a number of London Business School researchers, affiliates and visiting scholars.
In 1990, the energy industry was restructured and privatised. Since then, our focus has been on strategic modelling, price behaviour and the problems of a competitive industry.
We offer a variety of open enrolment and company specific courses, advanced workshops and seminars.
