Dr Yueyang Zhong is an expert in stochastic modelling and optimisation of human-centred service systems, with research focused on customer and server behaviour in congested service systems, and data-driven decision-making under limited or evolving information. Her work aims to develop policies that align individual incentives with the goals of system designers, spanning behavioural queueing, online learning, and information and mechanism design in high-stakes settings such as education, maternal health, mental health, and the AI-driven economy.

At London Business School, Yueyang teaches Data Analytics for Management (Masters in Management core), Data Analytics for Managers (MBA core), and Queueing Theory (PhD). She is committed to developing the next generation of leaders through rigorous quantitative training and the practical applications of operations management research. Yueyang earned her doctoral degree at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business , and has collaborated extensively with industry partners including DiDi , Pinterest, and proprietary trading firms in the US, as well as consulting for supply chain firms to develop AI-powered tools.
