Dr. Ussama Ahmad Khan's research is rooted in his deep belief in the role organisations can have in addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing the world today – including climate change, poverty, and slavery. He seeks to understand how these issues affect people's work and non-work lives, and the role of leaders and organisations in creating a positive impact on the lives of such people. His work focuses on the intersection of organisational behaviour and social impact, examining how businesses can contribute to solving global challenges while understanding the human implications of these efforts.

Dr. Khan completed his Master's degree in Public Policy at Harvard University before earning his PhD from the University of Washington. His academic journey reflects his commitment to understanding how policy and organisational dynamics can work together to address societal challenges and improve people's lives both within and outside the workplace.
