Henri Servaes

Henri Servaes is the Richard Brealey Professor of Corporate Governance and Professor of Finance at London Business School. His areas of interest include corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and mutual funds. He has published articles in all the leading finance journals, including Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies, and his work has been cited in international publications including the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Economist. His work has been presented at all major international finance conferences and at more than 100 universities worldwide.

At London Business School, Henri teaches corporate finance, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. He has also been extensively involved in consulting and executive education for a wide range of major organisations including Anglo American, Aramco, Barclays, Continental, Deutsche Bank, E.ON, the Financial Times (Lex Team), Freshfields, Mars, PwC, and Suez, among others.

Henri is a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research and a Research Associate of the European Corporate Governance Institute. He has held previous appointments at the University of Chicago, the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium), Duke University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
