Rachel Flam

Dr. Rachel Flam's research interests span financial archival research topics, with particular focus on corporate disclosure and the impact of information intermediaries. She seeks to conduct research that not only advances academic knowledge but also makes a social impact. Her work has been published in top accounting journals and discussed in the financial media, including by The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Bloomberg Business, demonstrating the relevance and reach of her scholarship.
Dr. Flam is committed to developing accounting professionals at London Business School, where she joined as an Assistant Professor in 2022. Before completing her PhD in Accounting at Texas A&M University, she earned a BSBA in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tulsa. Her professional experience includes two years as an assurance associate and research analyst for PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she specialised in the financial services industry. She is a CPA licensed in the state of Texas and brings both academic rigour and practical industry expertise to her teaching and research.
