Dr Quentin Vandeweyer's research focuses on macro-finance, asset pricing, and monetary economics. His work examines how financial innovation and regulation drive the development of the financial sector, with particular applications to money markets, short-term funding markets, central bank operations, and digital assets. Through rigorous analysis, he contributes to understanding the intersection of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and macroeconomic outcomes.

Vandeweyer joins London Business School as an Assistant Professor of Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he held the position of Associate Professor of Finance and Fama Faculty Fellow. His research has been recognized through numerous awards and distinctions, reflecting his significant contributions to finance and economics.

Vandeweyer's academic background spans economics and mathematics, with an undergraduate degree in Economics from Sciences Po Paris and a Master's degree in Economics from École Polytechnique. Prior to his position at Chicago Booth, he was a Post-doctoral Researcher at the European Central Bank from 2019 to 2021. He is actively engaged with the academic community through peer review for leading journals including Journal of Finance, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Political Economy, and Review of Financial Studies.
