Selin Kesebir

Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour

Selin Kesebir’s research examines the psychological and social dynamics that shape human behaviour in organisational contexts, with particular focus on gender, cooperation, competition, inequality, and cultural transmission.

At London Business School, she created and teaches “Wisdom and Happiness,” an elective that encourages students to think beyond career optimisation and consider how to create meaningful, fulfilling lives. She also teaches executives programmes on leadership, negotiation, and influence.

She completed her undergraduate studies in Economics and International Relations at Koç University in Turkey, has an MA in cognitive psychology from Northwestern University and a PhD in social psychology from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining London Business School, she was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at UVa's Darden School of Business. She is an editorial board member of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and previously has been Editor in-Chief and Associate Editor of In-Mind Magazine.
