June 2026
After a weekend of catching up, celebrating and revisiting familiar corners of campus, (and seeing the impressive progress!) Reunion reminded us once again of the power of the LBS community. We celebrated our different classes, volunteers, donors and pioneers over the course of the weekend and the gorgeous weather supported all our efforts to make it a memorable few days. Special recognition goes to MSc09(1976), the first class in LBS history to have a named class endowed scholarship fund that exceeds £1 million! If you haven't seen it yet, here are some wonderful highlights.
Among this month's other highlights, three alumni have been named in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours list (scroll to the ‘Congratulations’ section for more details). I’m also very pleased to welcome former SA President, Evan Connell MBA2019 as the incoming Alumni Council Chair. He'll take up the role officially on Saturday 1 August.
As part of the development of LBS’s strategic plan, we’re inviting alumni to share their perspectives through this short Alumni Pulse Survey on the School’s strengths, distinctiveness and future priorities. This is separate from the broader alumni survey we'll be conducting later this autumn – stay tuned for more details on that.
Finally, we’re proud to have over 13,000 users on MyLBS, and we’re thrilled with its continued success as a space that enables alumni to connect and engage in a trusted and supportive environment. While you're there, get summer-reading-ready by entering our Summer Reading List competition – tag a classmate or friend on the post by Thursday 2 July for the chance to win four essential books for today's leaders.
While many alumni also connect through independent WhatsApp groups and other informal channels, please remember these are not administered by the School. We ask that you continue to engage respectfully in all spaces, in line with the values of our global community. If you have any concerns about content or conduct, please raise them directly with the relevant group administrators.
Best wishes,

Ramsey Sargent EMBAG2005

Electives
We’re excited to introduce 22 in-person electives for 2026–2027, offering alumni the opportunity to join current students and faculty in class for £645 per course across a wide range of subject areas. It’s a great opportunity to enhance your skills, reconnect with fellow alumni and engage with the School community.

Alumni Discovery Cirles
We’ve also launched 20 new Alumni Discovery Circles, offering curated content and shared learning around key topics of interest. To explore and follow these conversations, join the ADC community on MyLBS, where the Circles are now hosted.
