Family capital meets global complexity at LBS Family Office Conference 2026

From geopolitics to inheritance, family leaders met for two days of candid, research-led dialogue

Family Office wide

Set against global uncertainty and generational change, London Business School’s Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital hosted its flagship Family Office Conference on 24–25 February 2026, bringing together principals and senior leaders in a strictly private, non-commercial setting defined by trust and open exchange.

Building on past success, the conference combined academic insight with lived experience, with delegates valuing both keynote perspectives and candid roundtable discussions. The programme spanned global themes such as family capital’s role in national resilience and thematic investing, alongside core questions of continuity, judgement and legacy, including succession and the psychology of inheritance.

Interactive roundtables remained central, enabling participants to test ideas and share experience, while day two focused on practical challenges, from running a family office to navigating geopolitical disruption and generational transition.

An expanded collaboration with SFO Collaborative introduced peer-led discussions on emerging areas including AI, healthcare and digital assets. With curated attendance and a confidential environment, the conference once again delivered a trusted forum for insight, reflection and peer connection.
