Short-let property management firm Pass the Keys has come a long way since its inception in 2015. Set up by London Business School (LBS) graduates Alexander Lyakhotskiy and Zoe Vu, the company generates more than £500,000 a month for customers around the UK. How? By listing people’s properties on websites such as Airbnb, TripAdvisor and Booking.com. The venture then finds guests, manages their arrival and cleans up after them.
Pass the Keys now has satellite offices across the UK, with the founders planning to expand internationally. In this video, Lyakhotskiy and Vu discuss developing their concept through LBS’s Incubator Programme, the challenges of securing capital and hiring the right staff and why they regret not taking more risks.
