Katie Pisa

Katie Pisa is Senior Editor at London Business School where she oversees Think editorial content, the School’s thought leadership platform. In addition to commissioning, writing and editing articles at LBS, Katie also produces a monthly podcast, The Why podcast, where she interviews faculty about their research, and she produces videos on important topics with faculty.

Before joining LBS in early 2023, Katie worked in a variety of editorial roles including jobs in print, digital, magazines, audio and video. At CNN International, she served as both a writer and producer and as Features Editor, overseeing a diverse array of topics from travel, entertainment, technology, sports, science, environment and health, and working closely between digital and TV to help create engaging and compelling content.

Early in her career Katie worked as a financial journalist in New York and then as a reporter for The Hollywood Reporter, writing about film industry news and interviewing and meeting famous actors, producers and directors.

She was also the author of Footprint’s first New York City guidebook, a job which made her visit nearly every inch of the city’s five boroughs (and sample many great restaurants).

Katie has also done extensive voiceover work for English language books used in schools around the world. Having spent much of her working life in various countries, including France, Malaysia, Greece, Australia, the US and the UK, she brings a global perspective to her work.
