Bio:

Yang is a PhD Candidate in Organizational Behaviour at London Business School. Her research focuses on topics related to personality, unethical behaviour, group dynamics, and leadership. In one program of research, she studies how communal narcissism can affect people’s likelihood to engage in, and their perceptions of, various types of unethical behaviours. In another program of research, she examines how personality and context can interact to influence leadership effectiveness and group dynamics. She is very active in connecting academic research with managerial practices, constantly reaching out to companies for collaboration and field study opportunities.

Prior to her PhD, Yang had a professional background in financial consulting in the US. Her work mainly consisted of developing customized accounting solutions on stock-based compensation for major Fortune companies. She graduated from Brigham Young University’s undergraduate and master programs with university honours. She is also a Certified Public Accountant since 2017.
