Bio:
Varuun is a PhD student in Finance. Prior to joining the program, he earned an MS in Financial Economics from Columbia Business School. He holds a master’s degree in mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi. Before his doctoral studies, he worked at UBS as a Quantitative Risk Specialist, focusing on models on interest rate risk in the banking book. His research interests include asset pricing and financial intermediation.
