Anurag Gupta joined the PhD program in Organisational Behaviour at London Business School in 2017. His research broadly focuses on social class and socioeconomic mobility. His aim is to promote inclusion and effective talent utilization of workers from poorer backgrounds in organizations.
Post completing his undergraduate studies, Anurag started his professional career with Schneider Electric in Bangalore, India. He then worked as a fellow at Teach for India (based on the model of Teach for America) and taught for two years in a government school in India. Post this, he worked at KPMG’s advisory services and worked with the government of India to roll out skilling policies across several states. He has also worked as a research associate at Indian School of Business for a brief period before starting his PhD at London Business School.
Besides research, Anurag enjoys acting and hiking.
