Alireza AmaniHamedani is a PhD candidate in Management Science and Operations at London Business School, advised by Prof. Ali Aouad. He earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
His research lies at the intersection of data-driven decision-making, dynamic optimisation, and market design. He applies tools from online and stochastic optimisation, machine learning, and game theory to enhance the operations of modern marketplaces such as online retail and the gig economy. He is also passionate about using these methods to optimise broader matching systems, including organ allocation, blood banks, and emergency response.
