Two LBS thought leaders shortlisted in Thinkers 50
Lynda Gratton, Professor of Management Practice and Ioannis Ioannou, Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship have been shortlisted in this year’s Thinkers50 Awards – the definitive global ranking of management thinkers.
Shortlisted for the Global Solutions Award, Professor Gratton’s work and most recent book The Shift: The Future of Work is Already Here, explore the changing patterns of work that are already affecting people all over the world. Professor Gratton is listed with seven other top management thinkers.
Nominated for the Future Thinker Award, Dr Ioannou has been shortlisted among seven other future thinkers for his research on sustainability and corporate social responsibility. His work focuses on how environmental, social and corporate governance strategies can be implemented effectively. The Future Thinker Award will identify the new thinker who has emerged over the last two years with potential to change the world of theory and practice.
The winners will be announced alongside the Thinkers50 Winner Award, which goes to the person selected as the world’s foremost management thinker, at the Thinkers50 Distinguished Achievement Awards Gala on 11 November in London.
The highly regarded list comes out every two years, after a two year campaign to identify the very best new management thinking. The Awards, considered The Oscars of management thinking, are the first-ever global ranking of management thinkers.
