Student nominated for Women of the Future MBA Star Award

1699London Business School student Tahreem Arshad has been nominated for the 2013 Women of the Future MBA Star Award.

The award recognises female MBA students with outstanding vision, talent and promise - qualities Tahreem has in abundance.  Tahreem is the founder and executive producer of Food4Thought, a community-engaging competition and show. She pitched the Food4Thought concept through a short submission to London Business School's Londance Film Festival and after claiming first place, she built a team of supporters - securing a talented production team for the project.

Tahreem was born in London but brought up in the UAE, Egypt, Pakistan, Iran, Libya and Canada.  She is a qualified chartered accountant and her performance saw her promoted to Engagement Manager at Ernst & Young.

The shortlist for the 2013 Women of the Future MBA Star Award will be announced on 11 October, with the winner crowned on 13 November.

Last year's winner was alumna Rajal Pitroda, who was hailed for setting up an educational gaming business for young girls. The School nominates at least one student for the award each year.
