The AT Kearney Global Prize is a competition for first year MBA students that tests their communication and personal impact skills, as well as their analytical and client-facing techniques.

The School's team, made up of Fernando Ramos, Alessandro Jorge, Tony Faraco Pires Jr and Julian Suhren, beat North American champions Columbia Business School in the final, in what the awarding body said was an "outstanding performance" showing the quality of their management training.

The School's team also beat off European rivals from the Judge Business School, Cranfield School of Management, INSEAD, SDA Bocconi, Rotterdam School of Management and HEC Paris, before facing Columbia in the final stage.

A spokesman from AT Kearney said: "The London Business School alumni at AT Kearney were particularly proud to see the traditions of strong collaboration and intellectual rigour evident in all of the 35 teams that participated.

"AT Kearney values the relationship we have with London Business School and its students, and we hope to continue to work closely with the School."
