A cheerful and positive antidote to the present doom and gloom of the economic climate recently came in the form of London Business School alumna Capucine Codron, co-founder of premium beverage delivery service Swizzle, and an MBA 2022, who appeared on the BBC's The Bottom Line programme 'Optimists and Opportunists' (BBC Radio 4 The Bottom Line, 17 November). The programme was devoted to discussing and fathoming those unique people in business who're always looking up even though the economy is looking down. Capucine, and her co-founder and fellow LBS alumni Guillaume Jacomin, are two such intrepid entrepreneurs who believe that setting up a business in the middle of a recession can actually make a business stronger and more resilient. The Bottom Line programme can be heard here.

Arka Dhar, currently a Sloan student at LBS (graduating this December), also appeared on the programme.
