Technology-based start ups invited to pitch their ideas in front of top executives
Technology-based startups are invited to pitch their ideas in front of top executives from the technology industry in the UK and Europe at the London Technology Summit at London Business School on 20 February 2009.
Hosted at London Business School's campus at Regent's Park, the third annual Technology Summit will bring together over 200 senior executives from the technology industry in the UK and Europe to discuss technology from a business perspective.
Speakers have been confirmed from: Accel Partners, Cisco, Amazon, Intel, Google and BT and will discuss internet business models; mobile operation systems; how the credit crunch is affecting the technology sector and what will technology being used in the home will be like in the future.
Startups are invited to write a one-page brief of their company for selection by a panel of Technology Club members and staff from the Entrepreneurship faculty at London Business School. Selected start ups will then be invited to the conference to pitch their company to the conference attendees who will then vote for the most promising startups. A ‘demo corner' will also give startups a chance to show off their product to the top technology executives in attendance.
To enter the competition, submit a one-page brief to techclub@london.edu by 6 Feb 2009. Selected companies will be notified by Friday, 13 February.
